BMMLAB and Artificial Intelligence – Guest seminar Friday, 2 Feb

BMMLAB researcher Dr Nitin Yadav will be presenting a guest seminar on Friday, 2 February for Agents-Vic, introducing the multi-disciplinary research undertaken at the Brain, Mind and Markets Lab. He will explain how NP-hardness has an impact not just in computer science, but also on human decision making and financial markets.

Agents-Vic is a community consisting of researchers in the area of Intelligent Agents (a subfield of AI). Active participants include academics and Ph.D. students from the University of Melbourne, RMIT, Swinburne, Monash, the Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTO) and the Defence Science Institute (DSI).

The seminar will be held from 9:30am to 10:30am on Friday, 2 February in Room 7.02 of the Doug McDonell building of the University of Melbourne (click for map). Everyone is welcome to attend!
